Cranbrook Community Policing Officer, Melody Henderson says bus driver's and the RCMP are working together to enforce the rules of the road. Speeding fines start at $196 and anyone travelling through these zones at over 90 km/h will be fined almost $500. Cranbrook News Olympic Hero Comes Home Cranbrook's Ben Rutledge lived a dream in Beijing. The local was instrumental in Canada's Men's Eight Rowing team capturing gold at the Olympics. Rutledge says it's time for a new challenge and if the guys want to get together in the future he would be interested. He will bring his gold medal to a ceremony next Thursday at the Rec-Plex parking lot, starting at 6:30. People will have a chance to ask the Olympian questions and take pictures with Rutledge and his medal.
